  • Every single Ferrari ever made is overrated unreliable garbage that breaks are you kidding me a Ferrari can't even survive a hundred thousand miles but a Corolla can survive 300,000 miles? Just because you are wealthy and you can afford a repair and keep running a Ferrari and looking good doesn't mean that it's a great car you just spending excess money and throwing money in a trash for something that has no quality in the build. A Ferrari with 30,000 miles is considered outrageous mileage. I bet before that, injuring new and up to 30,000 miles they probably put thousands upon thousands of dollars in repairs. Garbage!

  • I had a mint 348 that I rebuilt. It was superb....... BUT All Ferraris with V8 and V6 power pre 2000 had 2 problems . Not enough power and not good final gear ratio. Light to light you get murdered and on the motorway its killing itself to do 100MPH. Yes its designed that way ,blah blah. Nonsense , it's just flawed. The 348 did 60 mph in 8 seconds. Forget 5.6. On the plus side , the car is gorgeous and takes the uncertainly out of dating. The car is also not complica6ed and holds its value. The 355 was better but NOT enough power and full of costly fixes. . A hot hatch today kills them both. Such a shame but very nostalgic and special. Arrive anywhere and you're the Boss. I like being the boss.

By way of comparison, I just had a relatively minor amount of work done on my 2001 Land Rover Disco II out here in San Francisco and I paid basically the same amount for a new radiator, 2 or 3 new hoses, a small de-icer gasket and an oil change. >_
