  • Im sorry but you were sent a lift kit so you could fit 35's??? Ford Raptors from the factory already are lifted and have 35's

  • My views are the same! Automakers ligit though, do design and build them to breakdown and become a pos after 8-10 years. They purposefully put weak spots in the engineering to fail after warranty so that A: you pay them to fix it B: you buy a new car from them. Back in the day Toyota had the 22re. Built proof! They stopped producing them because they weren't making enough money on parts! Back in the 80s car manufacturers actually made more profit on selling replacement parts than selling cars!

  • Hate to be this guy, but... the amount of energy and resources used to build a car is very low compared to the impact the fuel a car burns has on the planet. I agree, I very much prefer things that are designed to last and to be repaired. But this just doesn't apply for things that burn a lot of fossil fuel. There's absolutely nothing good for the planet about any truck, except one that is used for fighting forest fires. If you don't believe hybrid or electric is the future, at least buy something lighter and more aerodynamic.

  • Great video. I have been saying for a long time that the most efficient cars are the ones that last. The energy, and so pollution, investment that went into building my 1990 Volvo has been amortized over 30 years and counting. Also some 400,000 miles. Still has the original transmission. The last time it was emission tested, it would have passed the requirements for a 2015. I would say it is pretty clean.

Yes like every car they prius need service and have breakdowns 4. It doesn't break your wallet 5. If your a mechanic. Remove the battery pack. Open it. Measure and replace the faulty battery. Mostly it is one broken and replacement cost you 17 dollar including shipping. 4 hours work or less Got a few more. Wanna go into it?

  • Be very careful hoovie, you're bordering (pun intended) VERY closely on most states impersonating a law enforcement officers vehicle. They might not fine you for it being close. Though they can easily fine you for the light bar that looks like a cop light rack. Seeing as you're a civilian with absolutely no need for it aside from ascetic unless you remove it. You will be tagged in their system as a possible person of interest. So any times you are pulled over after that after them telling you to remove it. You will go to jail for impersonation.

  • well I gotta mention that the raptor came out really nice but you have to also be careful with it. Depending on what state you're in, a lightbar on the roof is illegal when illuminated since it's green you need to look up what green is dedicated to by state laws but using it on public roads could wind up getting you arrested for impersonation and the siren is a definite no no to have and will get you in a lot of trouble with the boys in blue. I did laugh though when you got out onto the roadway and the speeding car backed waaaaaay off when you pulled in front of it LOL

  • As someone who has owned multiple Ford Trucks with the 5.4L v8 as well as a 2014 focus with the dual clutch trans. I owned a 2008 Expedition and 2006 F150, both were excellent vehicles for me. The F150 got its 3rd owner when we sold it with 205k miles and the Expy got traded in with 230k miles. Both never had their engines opened or any valvetrain work of any sort. The F150 always got Mobil 1 oil every 5k and the Expy got Motorcraft oil every 5k. Both trucks also never had a sparkplug break in the head The 2014 focus was also a great car when we owned it. From 20k mi to 115k mi it never had a single issue with the transmission itself. The trans controller failed once under warranty but that was it. We sold that to a family member and they are still driving it with no trans issues. The main issue I had with that car is that there was not enough rear camber adjustment in the rear wheels so it wouldn't wear the insides Would be an interesting video for Hoovie to but the highest mileage 3v Ford engine that he can find and take it to the wizard.

Even including environmental production costs, the Prius is way better than the Raptor. Like I say, I love the Raptor, but I just had to roll my eyes on this one. Also, your Prius would probably last a lot longer if you didn't put nitro on it ;)
