  • I wanted a drama free worry free car. DON'T WE ALL! Unfortunately most cars are freaking money pits. Either you're paying for repairs or you're paying a car payment (and also repairs)...

  • When he said “people with 2004 Saturn Vue’s just keep driving them with check engine lights” that could not be more true, I literally had one and it was because of a throttle body sensor. You just reset it each time with OBD2 and it would be fine...

  • Hoovie, I believe I’m the worst mechanic on the planet. Unfortunately I cannot find a good honest mechanic in my neck of the woods. I fix everything I can on my own. I cannot afford to pay someone else to do it. Thank God for LTworlds videos to help me get the job done. Something that should only take an hour or two usually takes me a day or two.

  • Did you not get any sort of warranty from the dealer? or was it a, sold as is and If there's something to be done they'll only do it before you actually buy and take it off the lot?

  • Should have done Tarvish's recommendation while those covers were off. Don't need a fire in the engine bay. And, non-stock exhaust is messing with the temp sensors.

  • If I just bought a car from the dealer that had under 4000 miles on it and the engine light came on, I'd be having a temper tantrum over at that dealer's lot.

Still, he looks like such a friendly guy, always has a smile on his face, and so knowledgeable. I think this is the first time I've see Hoovie get his hands dirty and work on one of his cars.

  • I had the same thermocouple problem on my 07 Gallardo. The problem most Gallardo owners have is with the thermocouple module located above the rear passenger side wheel well. You can easily access it by removing the wheel and wheel well cover. If you have access to the Lamborghini LDAS software you will be able to see the live CAT temperature readings that is coming from the thermocouples. You may just have a connection problem where the thermocouple wires plug into the module. Your best solution may be to just replace the thermocouples and module with the newer style part number: 0R1400030. The newer module is a sealed unit that is not exposed to the elements compared to the original module. Hope this helps.

Still, Hoovies videos are some of my favorite car videos on LTworlds. No...I’ll take that back. Hoovies vídeos are my favorite car videos on LTworlds. So I will forgive him for being such a “gringo”. Actually, he’s not that much of a gringo, most of the time. But sometimes...”fogetta bout” (read that with a “Supposed to be Cuban Al Pacino accent on Scarface). Godspeed Hoovie!!! You are the most “every day man, semi rich, dude” online. No mechanical ability but not bad “surface” car knowledge and a very good sense of humor. Which must be the reason why he’s happily married. Well...sorry but, it’s certainly NOT his looks. 😏🇨🇺🇺🇸🚙👍🏽
